I was pleasantly surprised by the fit and finish of the bike's components. The gears and controls operate smoothly, providing a solid feel. The addition of disc brakes is a notable upgrade, and the metal pedals offer a secure grip. The adjustable stem is a must for my preferred riding position, and I plan to replace it with a slightly taller aftermarket option. While the factory seat size is good, I intend to switch to a gel seat of similar dimensions.
I've owned it for a couple of months now, and it consistently covers around 30 miles on a full charge without any pedal assistance. It's an excellent bike for urban commuting but not suitable for extreme activities. Despite having covered over 100 miles, it's still going strong.
After approximately 4 months, my son continues to enjoy the bike. In comparison to his previous gas bicycles that required constant upkeep, this electric bike has proven to be low-maintenance. He only had to solder a loose wire in the battery case and replace both tires. Despite facing various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and sunshine, he has driven it for over 200 miles on winding Rocky Mountain roads with 7% grades during his five-mile commute to work.
Absolutely love this bike! Comfortable, sufficiently fast for my needs. It may not perform well on hills, but since I don't intend to ride it on hilly terrain, it's perfect for cruising around town!
