I use it for my daily commute to work, covering a 9.2-mile distance through busy Denver streets effortlessly and confidently. The large tires, robust engines, and disc brakes provide the assurance I need to navigate bike lanes in the Denver Tech Center. I upgraded to a new seat and suspension seat post, and it's a game-changer, significantly improving control and comfort.
It arrived in perfect packaging. In fact, I installed the fork backwards and for some reason my toes stubbed when turning the front wheel. I had a mountain bike before, but it had a rear shock...not good. I'm 5'11" and 210 lbs, and I specifically wanted a bike without shocks because shocks sap your power. This bike feels solid and is fairly lightweight. My first time The ride was a 9/10 mile downhill ride from my garage to town, through town and back up again. It's comfortable and looks like it'll last a while. The wider 2.25" tires pick up the ride over uneven pavement Very comfortable. Looking forward to building up some stamina and riding some trails.
I also turned off pedal assist for safety reasons and opted for throttle-only mode. You can customize these settings based on your preferences and needs. These adjustments can enhance your overall riding experience, but remember to be mindful of safety and legal considerations. For those familiar with E-bike prices, this one comes at a very reasonable cost, which initially raised concerns about its performance. However, after adding a more comfortable seat and a luggage rack, I've ridden the bike for approximately 200 miles, and it has surpassed all my expectations.
We've owned this bike for over 2 months now, and it has been used nearly every day. It's truly fantastic! The bike is durable, fast, secure, comfortable, and convenient. Unlike other lightweight options we've tried, this one can handle continuous riding without any issues. Overall, it's an excellent e-bike, and we highly recommend it!
