The bike was straightforward to assemble. Ensure that you properly torque down all bolts after the initial setup. I purchased this bike for my son as we live in a neighborhood where his friends' homes are several miles away, and there are many hills. After a full charge, I took it for a ride. It features three levels, with level 3 providing the most power. The bike reaches high speeds when set to level 3 and in 7th gear while pedaling. I recommend wearing a helmet due to the speeds achievable, especially during downhill rides.
