Right from the start, the bike was well packaged, despite some shipping damage to the box. Assembly was relatively easy, with a minor adjustment needed for the slightly overtightened front wheel bearings. At 70 years old, having ridden many miles on bikes, It handles hills with ease, only requiring pedaling on the steep ones. The first time I put it on level 5, it blew my hat off, lol. The only complaint I can think of is that it needs a setting where the throttle is the sole power source, even if pedaling. Jump on this bike and ride all day.
I absolutely LOVE this bike!! It's fantastic for the price. I added a passenger seat on the back to ride around with the kids, and it's been a great experience. Highly recommend!
Just had my first ride today, and it was absolutely awesome! I cruised for 3.5 hours, and the battery still displays 3 green lights and 1 red, indicating there's about 75% battery left. Impressive performance!
Assembling it is straightforward if you're familiar with the process and follow the instructions. Make sure to grease the bearings, as they might not come pre-greased. I had some initial noise issues in the front end, but greasing the forks resolved it.the tires seem puncture-resistant, but I encountered an issue with a piece of rebar. Replacing the inner tube was a bit time-consuming but got it back on the road. After 100 miles, still loving it with no further issues.
Was worried about battery performance. I use the bike for exercise so I often use PAS mode 1 and 2. I get every bit of 55 miles of battery use. All in all,a good bike. Exceeded my expectations. I’m still trying to get many more fun rides. This electric bike is no worse than the one near my house that sells for $2,000.
