At 61 years old and weighing around 230 pounds, this bike effortlessly takes me to my desired destinations without any issues. I was pleasantly surprised by its performance, especially considering the reasonable price. The assembly was quick with minimal adjustments needed, allowing me to hit the road in no time. While I would suggest getting a more comfortable seat, and noting the absence of a speed or odometer, all in all, I would recommend this bike.
I purchased the Ancheer e-bike about two weeks ago and have covered approximately 140 miles. The battery allows for a ride of about 30 miles without any pedaling before needing a recharge, and it maintains a speed of 20 mph without any issues, handling both uphill and downhill stretches. The battery charges in a quick 2 hours, provided I start recharging.
While the brakes work well, there was occasional grinding noise from both sides, likely due to misalignment of the tires. Considering the affordable price (less than $600), I am thoroughly convinced that it was an excellent deal.
I am a 5'10, 220-pound man who has been using this bike primarily for my daily commute to work. The routes I take are filled with potholes that are around 1-3 inches deep, so I needed a sturdy bike that could withstand the rough streets. I have had this bike for several months now, and the battery is still in excellent condition. During my commute, which is about 18-24 miles roundtrip depending on the route, I charge the battery at work. It usually takes 2-3 hours to charge, and I only use about 20% of the battery. The bike has pedal assist, which allows me to manage a speed of around 12-15 mph, even on the steep inclines on my routes. I have noticed that the maximum speed of the bike is around 19 mph on flat terrain, as indicated by street radar signs and Google Maps. However, when tackling my steep hills, I have been able to reach speeds of up to 39 mph. I have installed a bike rack on the bike to carry my work supplies, and it fits perfectly (although it's worth mentioning that not all racks are compatible and require longer screws). So far, I have biked over 550 miles with this bike and haven't encountered any major issues. The only minor repairs I have had to make were replacing the rear bike tube at 500 miles, which seemed to have loose seams causing air to escape, and changing the brakes at 450 miles. I also make sure to lubricate and clean the chain every 100 miles, and that has kept it running smoothly. My partner also enjoyed riding this bike, but ultimately chose a different bike due to personal styling preferences. Comparing this bike to other e-bikes she tried, I realized that this one is relatively lightweight. Overall, I am very satisfied with this bike, and I will provide another comment after reaching 1000 miles. My only concern is that you have to start pedaling at a low gear, otherwise, the chain may come off.
While the seat is notably uncomfortable and painful for extended periods, the bike, overall, has proven to be fantastic. On its inaugural ride today, it effortlessly tackled the challenge of five extremely steep hills, performing like a champ. The primary motivation for purchasing this bike was to effortlessly keep up with my energetic children and partake in enjoyable family bike rides. Despite the seat discomfort, the bike's excellent performance and hill-conquering abilities have made it a valuable addition to family activities.
I absolutely adore our new Ancheer e-bike. It reaches impressive speeds, going well above 20 mph, and our kids thoroughly enjoy riding it around town. Highly recommend it!
