Lots of great ebike brands start with the letter “A”, and we’ve covered a few on CleanTechnica already — like the ultra-high-end Akhal, powerful Ariel Rider, fat-tired Aventon, and even a camo-covered Addmotor eMTB that certainly gets an “A” for effort.

This is my 1st e-bike. I wanted something that was simple and I can use around town. No major hills. It was perfect. I upgraded the seat and got a rack on the back. So far I'm happy. The only concern is that I lost the key and I was told they would pay for a locksmith or send a new key (from China-takes a month). I will be checking for a locksmith. I get good gas mileage on this thing as well (LOL). I like the pedal assist. Over all a great starter bike. Oh and it is a little heavy. I have to carry it up 3 flights of stairs as I live on the 3rd floor.

Delivery took foreeever! but the bike itself is awesome the fat tires were great two and a half miles dirt roads uphill going home and it has plenty of power and the battery last decent as well

Bike arrived 2 days after purchasing which was amazing. Was looking for a 27.5 inch wheel and this one has that plus a 350w motor, the ability to use no electric, pedal assist or full electric throttle. As a 65+ year old with COPD, the bike I had was just not as easy/fun to ride anymore.
Assembly took just under 2 hours, but I also used my own seat and light so I had to take time taking them off my old bike. Assembly was pretty easy, but make sure to rotate the fork which is shipped backward for space.
One surprise is that there are no instructions to set up the display (the display is very good). I was able to find the instructions by searching on the internet and am providing them here:
Adjust Settings – Long press the plus and minus buttons on the Controller buttons for 2 seconds
1. The first setting is "Trip Clear" which is defaulted to TC-n (Trip Clear – no). In order to reset your trip mileage back to 0 press the plus or minus button to change the default to TC-y (Trip Clear – yes)
**Press the Info ("I") button on the Controller to go to the second setting (or long press to save and exit)
2. The second setting is "Backlight" which is defaulted to BL-2 (Backlight setting 2 – medium). In order to change to dimmer or brighter press the plus or minus button to change the default to BL-1 or BL-3. I found BL-2 to be fine.
**Press the Info ("I") button on the Controller to go to the third setting (or long press to save and exit)
3. The third setting is "Units which is defaulted to U-2 (km/h). In order to change to Miles per Hour press the plus or minus button to change the default to U-1 (MPH).
**Long press the Info ("I") button on the Controller to save and exit
Handling and riding are great. I live in the US Mid-North East, so it's a bit cold for real distance riding so far, but have taken the bike out for a few small rides so far. Love the bike handling once I got the seat adjusted to my needs and the battery seems to hold a charge very well. My top speed on throttles was 19.5mph on flat ride with some headwind, so no issues with the speed ratings. I usually ride on Pedal Assist 2 which gives you about 11-12 mph. PA5 gave me about 17-18 mph. You can ride at PA 0, which still allows the trip, odo, time, mph, top and average speed selections to function without electric.
I've usually start out just using no electric and the gears to get some solid exercise (the 24 gears are excellent and function very well out of the box), then move up tp PA 1 or 2.
The gear shifting and brakes worked perfectly on arrival with no adjustments needed.
Overall this is an excellent bike. My wife has an electric (which got me interested) with only 7 gears and she paid $1,800. I paid over a thousand less and I can't see any difference in handling or performance (except that I have more gears, so more ability to ride without electric).
This bike has made it possible for me to enjoy the fun of bike riding again. I couldn't be more happy!

Had my bike going on two years I love it no problem I did buy an extra battery I would recommend that. With the extra battery I feel comfortable on a 50-mile trip pure Electric. I'm 74 with a knee problem bike is well-balanced. Buy one and enjoy.

Love the bike Ive owned a few and this one is the best so far mine goes around 20mph a d 8 can go to work and back 8 miles and it doesn't even put a dent in the battery easy to assemble recommend getting a new seat and a set of lights but other than that for $650 no complaints here

An excellent value and fun bike to ride. A great ride on the beach! Simple to assemble (approximately 1.5 hrs). I've been riding a road bike for a long time, this eBike provides an excellent alternative just for a fun ride. Highly recommended!

Great E-Bike, takes the strain out of hills and is enjoyable to ride. The bike is of good quality. The only down fall to these bikes is the brakes, on steep hills I am pulling the brakes as hard as I can and I'm not stopping. The brakes need upgrading for sure! Maybe a rear light as well as the front one would be a good addition too. All said I have had hours of fun on my bike since I have bought it three weeks ago and covered over 100miles with no complaints other than the brakes.
