We bought 2. Assembled great . Everything worked. First ride out the headlight lens on both bikes popped out because when you hit a bump the headlight which mounts on the shock fork moves up and bangs the bottom of the battery on the handlebars. I feel it’s a design flaw that wasn’t tested on real bumpy conditions. I bought mine on eBay and have a message in about replacement. I think this should be looked into. It’s got to be happening a lot.

Ordered 2 different colors . Black which actually is black and white, and White which is actually white and blue. The white model had fenders and the black one didn’t. Same exact bike but different colors. Got an email in about that. Instructions for assembly are fair. Everything came adjusted great as far as brakes and gears. Biggest fault I found are super cheap pedals and the headlight is mounted to where if the front shock hits down hard the battery hits it on top and knocks the lens out. I bent and adjusted all I could . . It’s surely a problem . Need to reconfigure a bracket and waiting to see if I get fenders for my other. Overall ok. Hope customer service helps me out.

Great service & great product... Thank you, Ancheer!

I bought 2 of these bikes a month ago. I waited to give them a good test. For the price, this is the BEST deal out there. So lets talk NEG first:
Directions are hard to follow (Looks like they used Google translate) but if you are minimally mechanically inclined, you'll figure it out. Battery and motor are the lowest on the market. If you are looking for an electric motorcycle with the ability to peddle, look elsewhere. And that's that.
Now for the POS:
Very well built! The assist is awesome - tested on a 17 mile hilly terrain. I weigh in at 215 lbs - and it treats me very well. The battery CAN be charged away from the bike (unlike earlier models). Love the mag wheels. Recommend to watch youtube videos for assembly and adjustments but want to say the newer bikes have improvements (light is not in the way of the battery - the battery can be charged away from bike - throttle is installed - nice tool kit that fits into the battery bag). Because of quality to price point, I rate this a 5 star deal.

So much fun! Now I no longer need to do the walk of shame up every hill.

I really like this bike, it looks good and performs well. It zooms up even steep hills and it just gives you the extra help needed

Can't believe how good this is for the money. Great on road with all levels of assist and can cope with MTB trails along the coast with ease. Love it!

I wanted a folding bike so that I could put it in my lorry and get home quicker from where it is parked up overnight. I didn't actually consider an E-bike but stumbled on this folding electric mountain bike from Ancheer. It is quite heavy to lift the 6' or so up into the cab but it is do-able for me. I'm very glad that I came across it, as it is absolutely fantastic value for money, especially when compared to bikes available in the high st. The added bonus is that it is fully electric, as well as having pedal assist which most UK e-bikes are not capable of (although be aware that full electric mode is not strictly street legal). I have slightly modified the wiring, as I live in a first floor flat and did not want to take a wet & muddy bike indoors to charge it up. I can now take just the battery indoors and charge it, which is a huge plus for me (YouTube has a tutorial on how this is done). The bike is built to a budget, but is more than capable and does all it promises, just don't try and take it too far off road, as it is more suited to the tarmac and the odd green lane. The brakes are satisfactory if not razor sharp, but the seat IS as sharp as a razor so I swapped it for a more comfortable item. The battery life is okay, although if you only use full electric mode on an incline, it won't last an hour before being fully depleted. If I had to criticise anything, it would be the delivery time. The website promises 2 - 7 days, mine arrived after 18 days! After much chasing of the customer services dept, I was given a refund of £7.84 for my inconvenience! You will also pay a bit more than the advertised prices due to exchange rates etc, so bear this factor in mind when ordering.
Overall, it is a fantastic buy. It is very smart looking and turns heads when out riding (mine is the white & black model) and you won't get anywhere the same spec bike in the high st shops.

The bike is a great deal for an electric bike. The frame is small. I’m 6’ 1” and I need the seat very high and I had to add an extension kit to raise the handlebars. It’s still a little small.

I purchased this bike July4th. I really enjoy having the electric bike. One of the connectors for battery a pin doesn’t seat and won’t always charge. One of the petals broke the first time I went mountain biking and has been replaced. I also changed out the seat with one more comfortable.

just got the bike. Looks really good. instruction are poor and the installation video on you tube is not the best. My concern is the battery other electric bike have lockable and easily removable, this battery is stored in a bag connected by Velcro to the handlebars, this makes it easy to steal and removing the battery for storage will eventually damage the flimsy connections (poor design). Also they charge you in Dollars which means you pay more than you are quoted on the site.

Very good bicycle. Even for more than 100kg man

Had this for just under a year now and love it. Put close to 1000 miles on it in the first summer using it to commute to work everyday. Being over 200lbs and climbing close to 600’ in elevation every day definetly put a strain on the motor and battery but it got me there everyday with at least 1 bar left to spare. Tires are good for the road but I upgraded to real trail tires as I am dedicating this to a teail bike this summer. Average speed is roughly 17mph (gps tracked) but I have hit 25 mph in pedal assist mode on flat roads before. Only mistake I made was storing bike in shed during winter where temperatures got well below freezing and destroyed my battery. After pulling it out and fully charging I only get a 1/4 mile as opposed to my 15-20 mile range I got last summer.

I have loved owning this bike! It has done as I needed for reliable source of transportation and durable quality....only wish an extra battery wasn't so pricey.!!

I??m over the moon with this purchase.Very high quality build for the price. The comfort is unbelievable. The bike looks and rides like something far more expensive. Its my best purchase in a long time.My only concern now is to buy an expensive security chain to stop the chavvies trying to steal it!
Very highly recommended.

Ottima bicicletta. Ovviamente non paragonabili a mtb da 3000 euro. Fa il suo dovere, l'unica preoccupazione sono i ricambi. Ma per quello che costa consiglio di comprarla

I would buy one if it had a second battery I could buy. my legs can not peddle at all and I cannot risk not getting home without charged second battery. Every other part of the folding one fits what I want.

Fairly easy to assemble but instructions could have been a little better. Thoroughly enjoying the bike and how I can now get up hills effortlessly.

I was surprised to see quality components like Shimano gears and shifters. I have them on my road bikes costing about 5 times this one! This bike is quite heavy and I certainly needed the power assist when going uphill! I haven't tested the duration and max distance but it suits my riding just fine. I paid a bit more since I ordered it before the price drop but I'm still happy with my deal. Instructions on assembly suck but I have experience in doing this stuff so it was easy for me. I have recommended this bike to others and posted links to this site on some forums.

very good, very solid , the handlebar too low for me so I ordered a handlebar riser

Unbelievable , great quality at this cheep price

Good looking bike. Bought two of these. But the battery does not hold a charge after a few months. Replacement batteries are nonexistent. There are other battery packs for sale that might work, but they're $300+, nearly half the price of the bike itself.

FantasticI purchased this for my husband for ChristmasI changed the seat to " Giddy Up seat" and added the Ibera bike rack, Ibera saddle bags & trunk. I had everythig sent to the recommendedbicycle dealer in Tampa, Performance Bike. They received it and put it together quickly and added the extra equipement all Free of Charge qand in time for Christmas. I cannot say enough about how awesome Performance bike technicians were. The bike itself, my husbands absolutely loves. He was so excited the first time he took it out to the woods as he was able to go places he hasn't been able to walk to in years as he suffers from heart disease. It's quiet / light weight / sturdy / and has no problem tackling the sand or the mud.

It's fast !!! Be careful when unpacking. Don't throw away anything until you think you have it completely assembled. We had to dig in the trash for the brake discs because we thought they were 'stabilizers for shipping only'. I think we are going to like this bike.

I may need to revise the rating and review at a later date after I have more time on the bike. I gave it 4 stars because the assembly instructions are basically nonexistent. There is one diagram with no listing of steps to make sure you have done everything. In spite of that, the assembly is very easy and everything was included. The shifters and gears were perfectly aligned out of the box. I only made a very small adjustment in one brake cable at the lever. The pedals have reverse threads on one side. I found out that is normal but for an amateur biker like me, it was a real issue until I researched on the net. I watched some videos and some suggest putting on the handlebar and then setting the bike upside down to install the front wheel. It is easier to install the front wheel having the bike upside down, DO NOT PLACE UPSIDE DOWN WITHOUT LOTS OF PADDING UNDER THE HANDLEBAR! The shifters can easily be damaged if you don't pad them extensively. There are no instructions for mounting or installing the battery in the bag. What worked for me may not work for others but here is what I did. Before mounting, I test fit the battery in the bag. I ended up bringing the two wires from the bike into the bag to keep the plugs inside the bag and protected. The heavy plug is a tight fit through the grommet on the bottom of the bag so you will need to wiggle it to get it in. Work with the plugs not the wires. There are a lots of wires and cables coming up the steering stem to the handlebars. The battery bag goes in FRONT of them. Don't try to fit the bag between the stem and the cables. I first attached the bag to the handlebar with the top two velcro strips very loosely. Then I plugged in the battery plugs and fit the battery in the bag while adjusting the wires inside the bag. Work slowly with the zipper and everything will easily fit. After the battery is in and you verify connections with the light or horn, you can tighten up the top velco strips. I then put the lower velcro strip around the wire/cable bundle and used the large strap to go around the stem. Plug the charger into the battery before plugging the charger into the house current. The battery has some charge to it but give it a full charge (light on charger turns green) before riding it. As shipped, the tire pressure is very low. Printing on the tires says inflate to minimum of 40 psi (270 kPa) and a maximum of 65 psi (440 kPa) with the recommended pressure of 51 psi (350 kPa). The tire size is 26 x 1.95/47. Delivery was very fast, even during the holiday season. We have now ridden the bikes a bit and have found no problems. I have a couple of items to add.1. Installing the handlebars takes a little skill and a lot of patience to get the stem and stem thrust bearing set properly. Do yourself a favor and search on Youtube for "How To Adjust A Bike Stem".2. Tighten all screws and nuts on the bike.3. The first thing I needed to do was raise the handlebars. The stock steering stem does not provide for increased height as shipped. However, it is very easy to increase the handlebar height by adding a stem riser for under $15. I bought the "Weanas New MTB Bicycle Bike Alloy Stem Riser" on Amazon which provides up to 3 1/2 inch of additional handlebar height. Unless you understand about the stem thrust bearings you need to watch one of the excellent how-to videos on youtube. Just search for "how to add a stem riser to a bicycle". There is plenty of cable and wire to handle the 3 1/2 inches of extra height but it would be tight beyond that.

I've used this bike over the summer. Great product, very well made, easy to use I get a lot of questions about it. Long battery life.

This is my first E bike and I am content with this purchase.Assembly: it took me about an hr to put the bike together and another 30 mins to fine-tuning it further especially the brakes and battery position(the manufactured position for the battery is not the best spot as the weight pulls on the wires. see pictures).Power: I am 80kg. Max speed on pedal assist is 27-30km/hr and 24-25km/hr without pedal assist.Distance: Max distance 50-60km with pedal assist and 25-30km withoutWhat I like: cool wheel and tires, front light(quite bright), dual suspension, disc brakes. What could be better: better quality disc brakes, bigger pedal gear(more tooths)

This seems to be a great bike. Generally well built, easy to operate and a lot of fun. The front light and horn failed after the first few days as the wires came off the circuit board. I was able to re-solder this and have not had any further issues. The 250w motor is sufficient, but it will not, by itself, pull me (roughly 160 pounds) up a hill without some pedal assist. I wish they offered a 500w motor as that would be perfect. But, I can stay seated and with the assistance of the motor, and pedaling, still go up a hill without a sweat. If you are looking for your first electric bike without breaking the bank - I would highly recommend this one.

I just want to tell you, I just got this bike FedEx today. It was delivered promptly as promised. I put it together and gave it a spin. It is an awesome machine. It's still just the first day, but so far, so good. I am ecstatic. If it falls apart down the road, well, then I will not be happy. But right now I am on cloud nine.

A great bike at an excellent value. It performs just as advertised. Couldn't be happier!

About to take this bad boy on a 1000 mile trip. Now I could give this a 4 star since the settings that need to be done are not mentioned. However Ancheer Sport (YouTube channel) has all the videos but no English interpretation. So get it. Bring it to a bike shop.-First have them go over everything with a basic tune up.-Second have tire liners installed and slime injected in your tube. Tires are awesome but thin walled.-Third the saddle never tightens due to a slot missing, in the metal which allows the frame to conform to the insert of the saddle. Have the bike shop do this as well.-Fourth You gotta try this. It cost me overall $75 for modifications to my liking as seen above. I also added a trailer and am super happy every time I get on this bike. Let's see how it holds up. However, even if this bicycle broke down after some days, I'd almost not be able to regret the buy since it is so much fun. You just can't imagine ?

Great bike for the price. Battery location could be better and you may want to get a more comfortable seat. Overall, meet our needs for use when we are RVing

I have been a bike rider for many years. I have had everything from multiple folding bikes, Tomos Mopeds, old school SLA e-bikes and several mountain bikes over the years. At one time, i would ride 60 to 70 miles on a Saturday or Sunday but as I got older, it got harder and harder to get back into biking. The big issue is hills. I hate climbing hills. I used to ride up mountains with a group but I never liked it. Flat surfaces--no probelm.I was in Costco one day and they were just wrapping up a promotion on Genze bikes. The box was too large for me to put in my car so I had to let the promotion slide. Costco was selling the Genze bike for $1200.00. This was reduced from $1,500.00.If I bought a bike for me, that meant I had to also buy for my wife. My wife would then want me to buy for our oldest son. I decided I needed to find a cheaper alternative. After a lot of research, I decided to go with this model of Ancheer. Ancheer has several mountain bikes with the same or simliar specification starting at just over $500.00. This was the most expensive of their bikes. I bought my wife and my son the 14 inch folding Ancheer bikes. All have the same wattage and the same battery.I got the folding bike first. The folding bike is a great value but it feels more like a motor scooter than a bike. The gearing is too low to really use as a bike. The small wheels don't provide much confidence when riding on anything but the smoothest trails. None-the-less, it is a great value and it is what my wife wanted. The Folding Mountain Bike came nicely packaged. There was no damage. The bike went together with no problems. The battery was 2/3s charged when the bike arrived.I believe I will enjoy this bike even more than the much more expensive Genze bike. The Ancheer has better suspension. The Achcheer bike has better wheels. It has the same power and same battery capacity. It comes with a front light. It folds and it has 21 gears compared to 7.When I took the bike ur for the first ride, I was grinning ear-to-ear. The bike is very easy for anyone familiar with mountain bikes to use. The gearing and braking are exactly what I am used to. What I am not used to is the slight bit of effort I put into climbing hills. The overall feeling was very much like riding a normal bike but without the strain. I took a five-mile ride for my first try. I felt more exhilarated than exhausted. The battery was still nearly fully charged the end of the five miles. The biggest risk buying this bike is there is not much support. I contacted Ancheer about a few issues I had with their 14 inch folding bike and they didn't respond. The horn on my bike is not working. That isn't a big deal but don't think I can count on Ancheer to do anything.

A couple of minor disappointment but overall great value. A computer to track the speed and distance is not included and since the wheels are not traditional spoke bicycle wheels, the bike shop was not able to install one. Also, the user guide is very limited. Had to learn some of the functionality through trial and error.

My bike came a few days early. It came with no seat or seat post. Since I wanted to ride as soon as possible, I went out to all my local bike shops to find a adequate seat post. Sadly, I had to order one after two failed attempts at local bike shops. Three days after receiving and putting the bike together, I collected the seat post from the bike shop, and installed my cushioned bike seat from my old bike on to my new e-bike. (also contacted the company, whos sending a new seat and post out). My first impressions were exceeding my expectations as I rode the bike that day. Three hours later and a feeling of no "buyers remorse", I decided this was an Awesome Purchase, despite the issue with the seat. I fold it up and put it in my car easily, it can speed up to over 20 mph with the highest pedal assist and up to a steady 18 MPH on throttle alone. The low and medium pedal assist settings help you power up to the "Turbo Boost" you reach at the high pedal assist mode --- truly a fun, exhilarating and sometimes scary experience. Installation was easy and I Highly recommend this ebike.

Bike is great fun. I use the peddle assist when I need a boost up a big hill. I did make some changes like dirt tires, wider handlebars and metal peddles if you using it as a true mountain bike. Also, had to switch brake wires because they were set up like a motorcycle instead of a bike (front and back reversed).

I have owned several ebikes and this is a great ebike for the VALUE or dollar spent. It has features normally found on much more expensive ebikes. I make a few suggestions that could be helpful. If your handy replace the rear tire and tube with a kevlar tire and a heavy duty sealant filled tube. This will save you from fixing a flat on the side of the road in probably bad weather and a bad location. Do it now and you'll be glad you did. I replaced both tires and tubes and with the ones suggested you will seldom even have to add air, unlike a regular tire that goes down on it's own. The second suggestion is to zip tie the wire to secure it from movement on the headlight bracket. This will prevent it from viberating loose and coming unsoldered from the led circuit board inside the headlight. Just snug it up to the steel wire mounting bracket. Mount your headlight as low down as possible to prevent it from hitting the bottom of the battery case when the suspension moves up and down, or you make break the headlight on rough bumps. The last suggestion is to buy a bigger more comfortable seat. I installed a cloud nine by Schwinn but there are many others out there. I am an elderly rider and appreciate the comfort more than the racing and romping these days ( although been there, got the tee shirt). Before riding, take a few minutes and check every fitting you can find on the bike for tightness. This could prevent lost parts or a break down later due to a lose bolt or screw. Lube any area's that need oil and be sure and carry a few extra zip ties in your tool kit along with some duck tape, super glue and paracord. New or bigger batteries are available if needed on auction site's. Just make sure they are 36 volts and at least 8 amp hours. You will have to add new plug in fittings to fit your wiring hook up but it will work fine. I have not found a dealer yet that stocks parts for these bikes and if you know of any please let me know.

I live in a coastal area with a lot of hilly roads and off road areas. The bike is likely not what you are looking for if you weight over 70 kilograms or 150 pounds. Nothing against the manufacturer, but 250 watt motors are just too small for most uses. Unless you are going to buy the bike, ride it a few times and then store it in your garage, as many people do, it won't be fun.Think of an electric bike as a stationary bike that goes places and isn't boring, also you can't hang your clothes on it.I have over 7000 miles on my current bike, and I only use throttle when I need to get off the line at a stop light or need a quick boost. I use petal assist all of the time, it averages out my muscle input and I get a good workout that I repeat day after day. So that is good. But an underpowered e-bike won't do the critical thing for me: keep me going at slower speeds when I am on a trail with both bikes and walkers when going uphill. Bear in mind these bikes are HEAVY, usually over 30 kilos (55 lbs), so when you are going uphill and need to go slower than say 10 miles an hour, 250 watts doesn't do it.It is not that you get less exercise with the 500 watt motors, you get about the same, but the slow speeds, where a bike gets uncomfortable, is where the e-bikes really shine. Keep in mind that in California when on trails with walkers and horses, the bike speed limit is 16 kph (10 mph), and it is only enforced when you hit someone. Low power bikes like this one are legal on these trails, but hurt someone and you will hope that your insurance covers the accident, it is going to be expensive. So bottom line, for safety and fun, buy a bike that has between 500 and 750 watts. Larger motors are interesting, but keep in mind it is not speed, but exercise that keeps you using the bikes.

Tire quality is not that great. The seat has little padding. Lots of power, I was surprised how long the battery lasted.

I read the other reviews before ordering, and on their advice ordered the service to assemble the bike in my home. It turned out the provider I selected didn't work in my area, so Amazon automatically cancelled that portion of my order, but still shipped the bike. I was frustrated and concerned, but decided to give assembling it myself a shot. Result: I was riding the bike a half hour after I opened the box. Don't bother purchasing the service! The only 'flaw' I found is that they included a kickstand in the box in spite of the fact that an identical kick stand was already mounted. So, extra kickstand. The build quality and quality of materials is good, but not great. As a bike, it's serviceable. It rides like a $200 bike from Walmart. It's just a tad small for me (I'm 6'1"), but I'll be sharing this bike with my daughter so it's fine. The frame, tires and rims (where it counts) are durable, but seat, grips, handlebars, pedals, brake levers, headlight, and shift controls all seem to be of lesser quality and while they appear to work well, I'm concerned about long term durability. We'll see. Horn is loud, although the switch for it is very close to the headlight switch and from time to time you will startle yourself and others trying to turn your headlight on and off. Assist mode makes pedaling up big hills feel like you are pedaling fluidly on a flat surface. Love it. E-bike mode is exactly that. You twist the throttle on the right hand side of the handlebars and away you go. The connection between the bike and the battery leaves a little to be desired. There are two wires that need to be connected, but it's not clear whether these connections are intended to remain inside the mounting bag with the battery (where they are difficult to access to disconnect while the bike isn't in use), or outside where the connections would be exposed to the elements. I have them inside the bag, which is an annoyance when storing or unstoring the bike. In the end, I paid $800 for this bike and if the electric motor didn't work as well as it does, I'd feel like I overpaid for a lesser quality bike. But the experience with assist and e-bike mode make it easily worth the money, and I probably would have paid more if I had test rode this bike in a bike store before purchasing.

It turned out the provider I selected didn't work in my area, so automatically cancelled that portion of my order, but still shipped the bike.

Ok...I have several bikes...classic / folding / cruiser etc... and I tried a few electric bikes and took me a long time to decide. But I want something rugged looking and have strong wheels since the electric motor creates a torque that place astrain on the spokes. So I bought this and it arrived in a big box , the bike was well secured ....no damage at all. So I assembled it myself -the disc brakes require some little adjustment. If you don't know how to assemble and align the mechanical stuff my suggestion is to have it professionaly done on a bike shop or bike tech. Anyway, after putting it all together ...got too excited and done a road test and it was better than expected ..In general all the material use was well built. One thing though is to make sure you tighten the head light screw. Will I recommend this one ? The answer is absolutely YES.See Photo comparing my older 27" wheel and this 26" Ancheer MTB.Just an update...I have this Bike for almost 12 months now and all I can say is that :I'm enjoying it more ! ....have to do some maintainance like cleaning the chains and adding oil to keep it in top shape. My other bikes are in less use now because of this ....but I still do use them once in a while to be fair.I replaced the seat with a memory foam type to have extra padded feeling and to match the frame color.Sometimes this bike makes me feel like a kid again :)Recent update Dec 5, 2017 --- I broke the kick stand and contact the issue thru amazon (contact seller) and they replace the parts quickly. So my experience with the Ancheer customer service was really good. Other than that everything else is still in very good condition. The headlight design needs to be revisited by Ancheer design team and I think need to be extended a little bit to avoid getting touchdown by the battery bag. So I hope their design team will consider on working on revising it... I made the changes myself. So looks like and I'm gonna keep using this fun mountain bike for a long time !

Cons-The pedel broke on the first pump. the light is flimsy. the throttle on the right hand side of the bike does nothing even though it is wired up. Pros- I can get up a small hill with less effort for a little while.

This is my first electric bike, didn't want to spend thousands of dollar on my first eBike, so I selected Anchor with pretty good customer review. I also opted in for the FREE bike Assembly. I called Velofix (the free at home assembly company), I have to say, I am so glad Amazon included the free bike assembly, because the bike basically came with NO instruction on how to put the bike together, no user manual, funny thing is they do include a small bag of tools.Velofix came to my house on schedule as we have agreed, it took a "professional" guy almost an hour to put that bike together, I have to say, Jon from Velofix (serving Orange County CA) was extremely polite, extremely careful and extremely detail on building the bike for me. It looks like he was building his own bike, that's how careful he was. I am telling you, if Amazon did not offer this service, I would have returned this package as there is no way I would even know how to put the bike together (since there was NO instruction).Once he was done assemble the bike, I took a quick test ride up the block, I set the throttle to the lowest setting for paddle assist, and once you step on the paddle, the motor automatically kicks in and the bike was on electric power. it was literally "effortless" to get up a hill. On a flat road, with lowest throttle, I could reach 10-15mph. When climbing a hill, I can still reach approx 5-10mph on low and 10-15 when I set to next level power. Quick frankly, I didn't even have to go to second or third level power (the higher power does drain up more battery).I would have gave this bike a 5 star if they would have included a complete user manual. If I can give Velofix review, I would give them 10 STAR. Jon was just that professional. I am extremely pleased with his service.

The bike is great overall. A couple small flaws are the position of the headlight because it sits below the battery if you hit a bump it will break the light off of its plastic foundation and you will need to use about 4 black zip ties to harness it back on to the top of the bag in an alternate location. Also mine was loose around the center pedal and you will need a 5/16 hex/allen wrench to tighten this, if yours is squeaking this is the issue you would be wise to pre order the 5/16 hex wrench so you will have it on hand when you need it. Other than that, the seat is a regular seat which sucks, so buy yourself a comfortable gel seat, I found "the seat" called "the seat" by ergo to be the best.
